Hey Iris... You're doing so good. I'm hopefully getting my WLS in the next few weeks. I saw your page and started thinking, I think we went to grade school together. I have this strange ability to remember my 2nd grade classmates, but can never find my keys! Well any-hoo. Its great to hear a fellow Mantecan is doing so good! Hi Iris: I am a 45 year old woman at about 360 lbs. I am loosing the same as you. I have lost 10 cloathing sizes in one year. I just had my surgery in July and have lost about 90 lbs sofar. acording to others I should have lost 140 by now. I am so happy with my weight loss but it has been frustrating. I take inhalents for asthma and I am on oxygen and a cpap machine. I guess this could be the reason my weight loss is slow. If you would like to use me as a shoulder to cry on I would be availible. Hello Iris! I was so pleased to receive your Email. Thank you so much for taking the time to welcome me to AMOS. I have been enjoying your profile for months! I sent you an electronic card about two months ago. I requested notification of your receiving it. I never heard back, so I knew you didn't get it. I was going to send another, yet so busy with the holidays. The card went something like this: Hello Iris! This is Mrs. Hayes.(You know, your old "Yard Duty" from Neil Hafley School. Mother of Amber, Andrea & Phillip Hayes.) My husband and I attended a weight loss surgery seminar on October 15th at Doctor's Hospital in Manteca. Did you see me in the audience? I saw your beautiful smiling face at 2 weeks post-op! I could not believe how good you looked, and already going out at such a short recovery time! You and I have something very special in common, I am having RNY/LAP with Dr. Coirin soon, and would love to ask you about a million questions. Hope to hear from you soon!
