Samantha, my pcp was very supportive of my wls but also predicted that I would have a very tough time with getting insurance approval. I was approved on the first try within 4 days...and I had no comorbidities. So don't get discouraged...stay optimistic, good luck to you on this journey. I had my open RNY on 12/10/01, I'm down 62 pounds which is halfway to my goal of being under 140 and I feel great!About Me
