Sheila~~Your day is here. Here's to a speedy healthy recovery. I always say: remember to walk, walk, walk, and drink, drink, drink...and don't forget to use your spirometer...no matter how much you hate it. Happy New Year! Prayers==

Shelia--Congratulations and best wishes on your upcoming surgery. This is by far the best decision you could have ever made for yourself. I, too, had the same surgery done on Aug 2 by Dr. Clements and I have lost 91 pounds to date. (I could probably have lost more weight by now but I have not been able to walk like I would like to because of severe arthritis in both knees and feet). But I can tell you that I would do this all over again tomorrow--the results have been truly amazing. I had absolutely the easiest time after my surgery--no pain whatsoever, and was up running around my ICU room 5 minutes after they brought me in from recovery! I did ANYTHING I wanted to the day I went home from the hospital. A word about Dr. Clements--he is absolutely the best there is when it comes to this type of surgery, you are in good hands and the Lord will guide him during your surgery. Just do everything he tells you to do and he will be there to see you through this because he truly does care about his patients! You will be in my thoughts and prayers during the upcoming days and weeks. I wish you much success with your weight loss goals! You WLS friend--Diane Harris
