Just got off the phone with Becky. She has been up and walking. She had her NG tube removed today and started on liquids. She says that the liquids are doing fine so far. Becky is getting a great Christmas gift--she is going home tomorrow is all stays as is. Help me wish her a speedy recovery. Donna WV

I talked to Becky today and she sounds pretty good. She is still having a lot of back pain. The pain is from an old back problem and being on the surgery table has made it act up. They are trying to get the pain under control so she can stand long enough to get the leak test completed. Until then she will keep the NG tube. Please remember Becky in your prayers. Donna WV

I just talked to Becky and she is in a lot of pain. She asked that we remember her in our prayers. There have been no complications from the surgery. I will check on her again tomorrow. Please say a prayer for Becky. Donna WV

Dear Becky, I hope you have a morphine pump by now! As soon as you get better we must discuss Ruby Memorial --they didn't have compression boots for me for a while either! Maybe be can do something to help our future wt loss sisters and brothers to have what they need. This is ridiculous. I am praying for you and wish you a speedy and complete recovery. Hang in there hon, it gets a little easier each day. I am 24 days "out" and starting to feel almost normal! - 32 lbs. What a Christmas present to yourself, Becky! God be with and keep you safe. Take it easy and take care of yourself when you get home so you can be back on line soon. With love and prayers Marilyn

I just talked to Becky's sister Carla. Becky is in a lot of pain, but the surgery went well. They had to remove her gallbladder also. They are giving her shots for pain as they don't have a pump available at this time. She does not have a drain, but she does have a NG tube. Please remember Becky and say a prayer for her speedy recovery.
