Debbie, CONGRATS on the baby. I know there are some Yahoo Groups on WLS and pregnancy. Just look under the yahoo groups (sorry I don't know the link). Keep us posted. How exciting!! Jamie

Debbie don't stop encourging us. We need it so much. Dealing with insurance companies is the hardest. And people just for the heck of it say "don't give up/you are worth." Mean so much. Thank you.

Hi Debbie, I have been following you for a while now and love reading your posts. I wish you all the best in your new life and weight loss. I am scheduled for surgery 12/5 and starting to get things ready. If you have any advice for a pre-op I would love to hear from you. Take care and my prayers go out to you! (hugs)

DEBBIE~~~Don't be discouraged!!! When's the last time you lost that much weight in such a short time?? Our bodies are thrown into a major shock point after surgery and we lose rapidly. I too hit a plateau and only lost a couple of pounds in two weeks. Check out my weight and measurement page on my website - www.myjourneytothelight.com. The weight loss has sped up again and this week, looks like I'll be losing about 6 lbs. Trust me, it hasn't failed you. Your body is just trying to adjust to it's new pouch and burning fat. Hi Debbie, You go girl! I know what you mean about"can't wait till I'm under 200"....THAT is such a milestone! Because I remember back years ago when I weighed 190 and thinking that NO WAY will I ever let myself get THAT big....HA ! And here I am, at 266, waiting for this life changing surgery. I am so happy for you that you are on the other side and losing wonderfully1 Congrats and please keep us informed as this roller coaster ride of yours heads DOWN those hills! Dear Debbie, Glad to hear you made it safely to the other side. Um, walk, walk, walk, breathe deep, cough, breathe. LOL Thought I would reiterate what you are already sick of. Hope the rest of your recovery is uneventful and that you will be home soon.
