Amanda; Hopefully, you are now on the other side of the weight loss issue and on your way to a speedy recovery!!! I had surgery on 9-05-01, and it truly was the best thing I could have done for myself!!! I am so happy for you!! Welcome to the loser's club!!!lol PS) I am from Saginaw, Mi, so we are getting quite a population of "loser's" in Michigan!!!! (((((((((((HUGS))))))))

Congratulations. I was reading through the list of Dr. Lanes patients and notice you were able to move your date up so I'm to late to encourage you for the surgery, but encouragement is always needed!!! What was your experience like with BTC. I have been having trouble getting them to give me and my PCP the same information. Frustrating. How was the hospital stay itself? Once approved, how long did you have to wait for the surgery?

Hi Amanda, I wanted to congratulate you on the decision you have made to have this surgery. I know that you may be nervous but I wanted to let you know that God cares for you affectionately, and He is watching over you as a mother would their infant. Would it be reasonable for a well-loved infant to worry? Neither is it reasonable for you to worry when God loves you and has promised to take care of you. Remember to pray, and He will give you strength and peace. Keep us informed. Kim
