First off Beek jerky is not cheating.....
Beef Jerky if you like it continue with it, it's a good source of Protein. But only 2 weeks after surgery might be early, you don't want to stretch your pouch. Second, it doesn't sound like you are eating enough. My dr stresses the more you eat the more you will lose, you have got to eat at least every 2- 2 1/2 hrs. and most importantly you have to keep your pouch filled or you will get nauseous. A menu for the day would be like:
Breakfast Protein shake
Snack 2 oz Beek Jerky
Snack protein bar
Lunch 2 oz meat and a veg/fruit
snack fruit/snack
Dinner 2 oz meat/potatoe and a veg
ANd don't forget your 64 oz of water.. Doesn't it seem like we are always eating now. I know it seems never ending but when I keep up with this schedule I lose. When I miss a meal or go off schedule I don't lose. Good Luck, Cinde Shaw
