Hi All, Went to see Nina again today. She is doing so well! She is hoping to go home tomorrow. Her family has been down to see her and she got to see her 18 month old son, too. She has no major complaints (other than a little gas) and she looks great!! She showed Kacie and me her scar today (she had open RNY) and the doctor did a great job stitching it, it doesn't look like she should have a problem with it. Nina is such an insperation to us and we wish her all the best!!

Hi All, Me and Kacie Guzman went to UCD to see Nina today and she is doing great!!! The surgery was 2 1/2 hours long (the scheduled 4 hours). She is in no pain (she had an epidural) and she was starting to walk when I left. They are moving her out of ICU today and if she has no problems she will be going home in a few days! She looked really good, had good color to her and she said she was missing her son. I can't wait to see her on the other side!! YEAH NINA!!

Hi~ Just a quick note..I went to UCD to see Nina Miller this morning and she was still in surgery. She went in around 10am and was scheduled for a four hour surgery. I couldn't find any of her family there, but I'm sure they were close by.
