Laura, congratulations on your one year anniversary! I know it's been quite a year! I haven't seen you in ages, but I'm sure you're looking "fine!" My anniversary is in a couple of weeks. I'm trying to think of something new and original to celebrate! I hope you did something fantastic!

LAURA--Congratulations on your surgery and on your weight loss!! I, too, had surgery with Dr. Clements on August 2 at Carraway and my experience was much the same as yours. I have had no complications (other than the occasional dumping, which the doctor said was being caused by too much insulin). I got that straightened out with my diabetes doctor and so far, so good. Like you, I would do this again in a heartbeat. Dr. Clements is the absolute best and I know that he has saved my life. I lost 22 pounds at my 2-week checkup and I was absolutely ecstatic. That's 22 pounds that this body will never see again! I hope that you continue to do well in the future and that you have a speedy recovery. Keep us posted on your successes! Diane Harris
