Rashell went home on Saturday and except for the discomfort of having open rny she is doing great. Rashell, I wish you continued daily improvement and success on your weight loss journey. Don't forget to walk and sip that water. I can't weight to hear how much you have lost on your first post op visit and how much better you will feel after the drain is removed. God Bless you, Carolyn

Angel flying in. Rashell had her open rny yesterday. It took about 4 hr as planned and all went well. She rested most of the day. Today she has been up and is experiencing a little pain. Congratulations, Rashell and welcome to the losing side. I will be there to see you tomorrow and hope you will be feeling better. You are in for an amazing journey and I'm am so lucky to be able to share it with you. God Bless you. Carol

Hi Rashell! Big congratulations on your surgery date! I bet you are so excited! Just hang in there and try to be patient! Don’t worry if you are nervous, scared, excited or go through a thousand of different emotions. This is all normal, so go with the flow! Remember that we’re all family here and we’re here to give you our support, lend an ear and not judge. Rashell - Congratulations on your surgery date! Your surgery date is my birthday! Now it will be YOUR "re-birthday!" I have some Zen Wisdom for you - Nothing exists but momentarily...One thing flows into another...observe things as they are, let everything go as it goes. This is to put everything under control in its widest sense. --- Congratulations on your surgery date and may God keep you close to his side as you travel your new journey. You will have ups and downs. You can always turn to us, your AMOS family, we will give support, comfort and encouragement. You will find this will be the best thing you could ever have done for yourself as well as your family. I know that was true for me. Keep us posted when you reach the "other" side. I pray for a speedy and easy recovery for you. Don’t forget to update your profile at least monthly. We all like to see how we are doing!!! Make sure you take pictures. It’s great to see the new you emerge!!! Not to mention the look on YOUR face when you look at those pictures and compare them in a few months! It’ll be a BIG WOW!!! Good luck and God Bless!!!
