After a brief setback, we are holding fine in the ICU at St. Charles. Mom should be back in a regular room by tomorrow. She is doing fine but is a little discouraged by this. She will be much better once she is able to get up and walk. Go MOM!!!

From your brother, David: Welcome home and congratulations on your decision to have the by-pass surgery. I hope it wasn't too unpleasant an experience. Now, you take it easy for a couple of days. I'll try and get over early and lend a hand. Wow, a new start and hurricane all in the same day. Not bad. Love you

Mission Complete! Not by far, but the long road to wellness begins now. She is out of surgery and doing beautifully. The doctor was able to do it Laprascopically and everything went very well. Aside from the tropical storm blowing through New Orleans, everything is going smoothly and she is sleeping right through it.
