Karen~~Here's to a quick happy recovery. Remember to walk, walk, walk, drink, drink, drink and cough, cough, cough. Use the incentive spirometer not matter how much you hate it. DEAR KAREN-I WANT TO WISH YOU THE BEST OF LUCK FOR A SPEEDY AND HAPPY RECOVERY. MAY GOD INSPIRE YOU AND YOUR SURGEON. I HAD A DS DONE IN 2/01. THE BEST DECISION I COULD HAVE MADE FOR ME AS I HOPE YOUR DECISION IS FOR YOU. KEEP THE MOST POSITIVE ATTITUDE, GET OUT OF BED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AND STAY OUT. SIT UP IN A CHAIR AND TAKE LITTLE TRIPS AROUND THE NURSES' STATION WHENEVER POSSIBLE. TAKE TINY LITTLE SIPS OF WATER AND ENJOY THEM AS IF THEY WERE THE MOST DELICIOUS LIQUID YOU HAVE EVER TASTED. I WILL KEEP YOU IN MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS.

Hi Karen, good luck with your upcoming ds surgery with Dr. keshishian. I had my ds with Dr. K in Sept. 2001. I did great. No complications at all. You will do well also. Let's keep in touch. What a great way to start the new year!
