Hi Laurielee, I am soooooo glad to hear that you are home. Every journey begins with a single step. You may have had a bumpy rode with WLS but that doesn't mean that you won't be just as successful as all the rest. Just follow your surgeon's recommendations and know that there are a lot of us who support you. In a couple of weeks, I am sure you will be "dancing" with joy for having taken this rode. Please contract me if you need to talk. You are home now - in every sense of the word. Susan

**ANGEL ALERT** Laurielee is finally home today (YIKES!! Her surgery was on the 22nd)! She experienced severe migrane headaches and other post op complications and had to be kept until this morning. She is sounding so blue. Could you please take a moment to visit her site and send good wishes and cheer?! Thank you so much in advance. The Luckiest Angel

I am not Laurielee's angel but I think she could use a little extra angel-ing from all of us. After seeing Angel Joanna's post last night regarding Laurielee, I decided to go visit her today. She was feeling pretty PUNK --- very disappointed that she is feeling so bad. She had surgery on Wednesday morning. The doctor did a Lap RNY but Laurielee had had abdominal surgery as a teenager. When they got "inside," the scar tissue was in the way. That, apparently, is what caused the complication. There was so much bleeding that they had to give her a pint of blood. At noon today (Friday) her abdomin was visably swollen and she was complaining about a migrane headache. They took her morphine pump away yesterday and she was not easily tolerating the liquid pain medication that she was given. Her sweet husband was there at her side --- supporting her every step of the way. They were waiting to see the doctor (at 10:00 AM) --- but, the doctor had not shown when I left a little after noon. Laurielee was a little "weepy" and still needs your support and prayers. She is trying very hard to be positive - but, it's real tough when she hurts and doesn't seem to be getting better fast enough. We "angel helpers" are wishing Laurielee the best. Susan
