Hi Amos, I talked to our girl,Angela, this afternoon. She sounded great and said she was having a much better day. The doctor has removed her IV and told her that if she keeps her fluid intake up.. he wont restart one.. especially since they would have to go to her chest or neck to restart IV. She is looking forward to going home , maybe as early as tomorrow.. but doesnt plan to push it . She had to go to CCU yesterday for a blood patch.. due to the epidural space being ruptured in the attempt at inserting her epidural.. not a success.. However, the blood patch seemed to have worked as her spinal headache and dizziness is better today.. I am praying for good results and great and easy recuperation . I know that you have it made now .. you have done the hard part, Angela.. I love you and will do anything I can for you.. Love ya,

Hi Amos, Weak Angel struggling again.. talked to Angela earlier tonight.. Boy, is she a trooper.. She wasnt able to have an epidural .. so has a PCA pump with Demerol.. they had given her Dilaudid.. but caused intense itching.. Her IV's dont seem to be holding very well.. so they have told her they may have to insert a central line.. we are praying against this.. as it is very painful.. She is up and walking even though she is in considerable pain.. she wants to do everything the doctor is ordering.. Her temp is a bit elevated but could be due to the effects of surgery and anesthesia ... The anesthesiologist did tell her that her leg would have pain and numbness for several weeks to several months.. due to the attempt at inserting her epidural going into the wrong space.. I will try to call her again tomorrow and see how things are.. I told her we all love her and are pulling for her.. to keep her chin up.. it only gets better now.. Thanks for posting to her surgery page.. Hugs,

Hi Amos, Weak and tired angel here struggling to get this posted.. Angela came through her surgery with flying colors.. I was at the hospital when the surgeon came to speak to her husband.. He said her revision was almost like doing a virgin RNY.. and only took about two or so hours.. I am sure our gal, Angela, is well on her way to healthier and skinnier.. Angela.. honey, we are thinking about you and praying for a quick recovery. Love ya,

Hi Everyone, Today is Angela's day.. the surgeon told her that her surgery would take a minimum of 4 and 1/2 hours and could be as much as 8 hours. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers today and send her a note of encouragement. She was very nervous last night.. I feel that she will be ok.. Angela.. we all love you and are praying for you today.. Love ya, Angel Gina
