Well, it’s official! You’re on the losing side. The trumpets are blaring, the cymbals are crashing and the drums are drumming – all for YOU! I hope that all went well for you! You’ve been out of surgery now for a little over a month – YIPPIE!!! Your journey will have moments to “pause” – I’d like to impart some words of wisdom for when it does occur - remember these wise words whispered by Confucius – “It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.” Be patient. You didn’t put it on over night, it won’t come off over night (DARN IT!)…Don’t forget to update your profile at least monthly and take lots of pictures…the transformations will make your jaw drop!!! RNY 10/31/03 – down 89 pounds!!! Good luck!

Hi Cindy, I'd say don't be nervous but, heck I was. Of course it was for nothing (except I burned a few more calories) because my surgery went just fine. I had soreness afterwards and frankly, my back hurt worse than my incision. For me, the week before surgery was worse than the week after. Remember to keep it positive. That includes keeping only positive people around because before surgery we are so sensitive to every comment people make. It will be just fine. I hope all your health and weight loss dreams come true,

Well Cindy here we go girl. Im already tired of running to the bathroom so I hope your with me on this little fiasco hahaha... I told my hubby I want him to find your room after we are up on the unit, but probably will catch you in the halls. I feel lucky to have a hall budy in any case. I'm not exactly sure how I feel right now. Worried, nervous, like maybe I should be more atuned to this by now I dont know. Im so anxious to have it over so I can start the healing process. So here it is Kiddo together we can get through this...

May God keep you close to his side as you travel down this new road. The journey will be an experience you will never forget. It will be filled with ups and downs. However, it will be the best thing you could ever do for yourself and your family. I know it was for me. Remember you can always turn to us, your AMOS family. We are here to cheer you on, pick you up when you fall and to celebrate any little victory. Keep us posted when you reach the "other" side. I pray for a speedy and easy recovery. Good luck and God Bless!!!
