Thanks so much for your comments on my surgery page. I had it done Friday 9/5 and I feel great. No regrets. I'm getting up, moving around and following all doctor's orders. Can't wait to see some weight loss. Christy in Utah.

I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all. (unknown author)FROM MY HEART TO YOU ~*~Hugs~*~

Leslie, I was not much of a strwberry eater before surgery and eat them quite often now with no problem. Don't worry girl. You should feel much better soon. I know I was knocked on my butt for the 1st 6 weeks (tired) and took so many naps during the day. NOW I have so much more energy!! I am always on the go! Hang in there. If those blues don't go away be sure to talk to your Dr as depression is SO treatable (and a side effect from this surgery it seems). God bless. Jamie

My husband and I met Leslie and her husband Jim in Fresno Monday (8/25). She is doing great, came through surgery very well, no problems. We had a really good time visiting with them, we hit it off right away, and then had a hard time leaving. Jim, Leslie's husband, is really charming, and is really supportive of his lovely wife. I hope that we will become excellent friends! It is such an honor to be her angel. I am sorry that I didn't get this on sooner, it's a long story...

My prayers will be with you as you go through the surgery and recovery. May your strength be restored; your recovery be swift and your tender heart be renewed.
