Kathy, you should continue on the Sudafed and call your MD if you have't yet. They might start you on an antibiotic. It still may be okay if you're not running a high fever or chest congestion. Am a nurse and we deal with this sometimes with patients before sugery. Hope you get better soon and good luck with your surgery.
