Beverly, I am 2 months post op and this surgery changed my entire life for the better. Prayers are with with you -- we people in Michigan have to stick together. It's amazing how many people are having this surgery everyday in the entire country. Beverly; CONGRATULATIONS on your upcoming surgery!!! I am so happy for you!!! You have a great Doctor, and a great facility to go to, I have lots of friends who have had their surgery there, and its always been a good experience!!! I am from Saginaw, Mi., and had my surgery on 9-05-01, so far I have lost 57 pounds!! I am telling you this to get you excited!!! That way the fears you have won't overwhelm you!! A lady singen my surgery page with this quote that I am going to type for you, "Fear knocked at the door, Faith answered "No one's here" Keep the faith Bev, and a positive attitude, they will go far in helping you heal!!!! Barbara, I wish you the best of luck on the 7th. I will be having mine done the the 20th of this month in Grand Haven with Dr. Poplawski also with BTC. I will keep you in my prayers. I live near Manistee so were not that far apart.
