*********WELCOME HOME MELINDA!!!!!******* you go girl!!! Wow! get LOTS of rest! Make that hubby wait on you hand and foot!!! I really enjoyed meeting you and you take care of yourself.. Keep an eye on that temperature and dont try to do too much. Just sleep as much as you can but drink drink drink... you dont want to get dehydrated. Miss seeing ya! Dana

Melinda is at home now. She was released around noon. She was so glad to be at home (I would prefer my bed over a hospital bed too...LOL) When I spoke with her she was taking it easy and watching a movie. Ernie will be going back to work tomorrow and I have her daughter Allandra, so she will get caught up on her rest and get to adjust to being at home again. WELCOME HOME MELINDA!~!~! We LOVE you soooo much. Congrat's on your crossing to the other side. I will meet you there shortly. LOL. You will be up running shortly. And then the weight will be melting off. GOOD LUCK and I will see you this weekend.

Melinda was suppose to get to go home yesterday (Sunday) but is having to stay due to a fever. She is doing great and has even made it around the nurses station now. She is a strong person I was just there to make her stronger. I pray Melinda for a speedy recovery and that the next 18 months go bye super fast so that you may focus on the next months making a beautiful baby. Good Luck and I know you will do fine. Ok, now keep up those breathing treatments too. While in the hospital we met a beautiful and wonderful lady most of you may know, Dana. She is gorgeous (inside and out). I cannot wait for Melinda to get well and come home so she can help me get my approval and get my surgery date. I am so excited to look as good as Dana and her husband does. Dana you are such an inspiration. Keep up the good work. I was such a pleasure to meet you. Hope you had an nice trip back home. Keep in Touch. -Nurse Kratchett (Is what Melinda called me) LOL :)

Melinda is doing absolutely wonderful!!! She has a VERY supportive husband and sis-in-law who is taken very good care of her! I was thrilled to meet Melinda on my un-planned trip to Dallas. I got to answer a lot of her questions and help walk her to the nurses station! I wish I had done as well as she is doing! She has a little pain on her left side (which I did too and was told it was a pulled muscle) She has a little fever (which I had the same).. she is absolutely normal and very excited about this! She already looks good to me and will be knocking them dead in a few months! Zale Liphsy is an awesome hospital and Doctor Provost is wonderful! Melinda has a great attitude and she will go far in this! I cant believe the wonderful support her sis-in-law Betty is giving her! she should be a nurse! Melinda.. you hang in there sweetie and it was a pleasure meeting you! Keep me updated!!!!!

Mellie, Its FINALLY here. I know this has been rough for you, but its all going to be OK! First I was skeptical then there was jelousy now there is excitment and anticipation. I'm soooo excited for you! Whew all these emotions how do I cope! LOL! You are my dearest friend, and I Love you very much. All I have to say is you go girl, and you go all the way! I am so PROUD of you. This is a big step in your life, but it is so worth it ( You are so worth it!) You will be in my hopes and prayers. Love always your friend, Kristi

Melinda, your big day is almost here. I will always be your angel. You are the sweetest thing since Hershey's chocolate bars (ok forget I said that) LOL I will be leaving tomorrow from Big Ol' Amarillo, TX to travel (BY MYSELF) to be with you on your special day in Dallas, TX. I must admit though you are most definately worth it. My love and prayers go with you during your surgery and always. Love your sis-n-law (sister)...BETTY
