I had an e-mail from Heather's Mom today. She said the surgery went well, they had to do an open instead of lap. Heather is still in CCU because she had a temperature today. Keep her in your prayers. I hope to see her this weekend.

Hi Heather, I dropped off a card for you today, hope you got it. I was in the hospital seeing the dietician, who told me -- shock of all shocks-- that I'm not eating enough! Hope you're doing well and will be in regular room soon.

Heather best wishes from the another PA resident set for an open-RNY on the same day as you! Neat that you are so young and getting the surgery. I am 42 and am getting a little nervous as Tuesday rolls ever nearer. I wish you a speedy recovery. Molly Shannon

Hi Heather!! Congratulations Sweetie!! How wonderful to be able to take this step, to bring yourself the best in life, at such an early age!! I will be having my surgery on Friday (6-15), and although I'm more than twice your age, I too look forward to a better, healthier, more comfortable life!!
