Hello, I heard from Jill today. She says she was readmitted into the hospital for 4 days because of a fever. She's home now and she has an infection in her incision. She feels relatively ok and has lost 30 pounds in three weeks! Let's keep her in our thoughts and wish her a speedy recovery.

ANGEL with an update. I just got off the phone with Jill. She sounded great! Said her pain was almost under control and was really not feeling that bad. Has had a few bad experiences with the nurses already, though. That's UCD for you! She (like I) spent all night in the recovery room due to a lack of beds. All in all, she sounded fabulous and looks forward to having a drink of water tomorrow evening (after passing her swallow test). Way to go Jill. All us Sacramento Surgery Sisters are so very proud of you. Welcome to the other side, you looser!

jill- congrats on your new way of life. the first couple of days post are the hardest. start speaking positive about your surgery and healing now...our words carry loads of energy and intent. be sending thenm in the right direction!!! toni saliby
