Hi MaryLisa, I just read your profile and was sorry to hear about all the complications. It's been about 2 months since your last update and I am wondering if you are doing better. Are you past the complications and did you ever get insurance to pay? I am a DS patient, too. Fortunately I had no complications and I have lost all my excess weight. I am praying for you and hope that you will soon feel that it was worth it all to have the chance at a healthy life. I wish I could give you a hug. I know exactly what you mean by "missing the hugs and being touched." God bless, Brenda

It is a tremendous source of info and support when the RNY doesn't apply!
