Mommy dearest, I to love the Lord and I know with out a doubt that he guilded me to have my surgery and that his hand was on all the paths that took me here , It could not have been as smooth as it was with out the Lord I do believe that you should trust in the Lord and he will direct your path but my path is in Wausau on 4/15 /03 with Dr, Johnson giving me my future I'm sorry that you fill so hard about it but I wish you well and a great future Ruth

MOM, I believe that God provides "tools" to aid us in the journeys to health. The saying "to each their own" applies here. You have stated to me on several occasions that God did not intend for me to have my stomach altered and cut up, but God did also not intend for me to be on this on-going downhill spiral of weight gain and failure. I understand that all things are possible with God. But you should know that I truely believe with all my heart and soul that this surgery was God given. Obesity for me was a disease just as cancer for another and you better believe that a person ridden with any disease that can be helped with surgery will certainly have it! Mom, try to have more of an open mind. Why do people at church suport me in this edeavor if it's against the Lord? Please explain that one! Love your daughter, Dena K.
