Andrea; Good luck on your surgery tomorrow, my thoughts and prayers will be with you. When I first started looking into WLS, I had considered going the FOBI route... the $$ I heard they wanted up front scared me off. At this point it looks like I might be having my surgery done at Elmendorf (I live up in North Pole). Anyway... good luck... I will send positive thoughts your way tomorrow and prayers upward!

Andrea, best wishes for your upcoming surgery. I had mine last November, and I have never had a single regret. One thing that may help to remember is that the nervousness is over with when you wake up in the recovery room to your new life.

TWO MORE WEEKS!!!!! You are in my thoughts - I have surgery the same day!!!!! I lived in Anchorage when my Dad was in the Air Force - there during the big quake. I have started a yahoo support group for those of us having surgery on 7/11 or close to that date. Let me know if you want to join.
