I am so saddened to know you lost your son. Any mother fears such a loss and my heart surely goes out to your and your family. In your surgery remarks, you said your family was very supportive of your decision to have the surgery, I assume this included your son. His support was built on love of his Mom and his hopes to see you live a healthier and happier life. In your Son' honor and memory, continue to keep the weight off and attain your goal weight. Lots of times us Mothers can do for the kids what we could never do "just" for ourselves. I would think you boy would have wanted you to succeed and would be cheering you on if he was here with you. Keep him in your heart and let his memory support your weight loss. I believe in Heaven and that after life here on earth the essence of ourselve somehow is still in touch with those that has passed on. I like to think that in every life there is a purpose...part of yours was to have your son and do your best to raise him. One day you will be together again and he can tell you how proud he is of you. Stay strong and don't let fear or regrets get you down. Ever forward... always becoming a better person, that's what will bring you happiness. May God Bless You and yours and may you feel the wonderful comfort and grace from Our Lord that will give you the strength to go on. Carol Marsili
