Hi, I talked with Rene today, she has been released! (YEA!). She discharged on Saturday, November 24th, but was required to stay in the Anchorage area until the doc released her. She probably won't be back to the Fairbanks area until Saturday though. Anyway... she has already lost quite a few pounds!!! YIPPEEE!! Can't wait to see her lighter! CONGRATS RENE!

Congratulations Rene! You worked hard for this and now you've made a huge step toward a better life for yourself...*smile*...you're gonna love it!!! Stay tough girl, not every day is easy, but it is well worth it. See you when you come home!

OOPS - last post I think went b4 my comment!! Congratulations Rene on your successful surgery!! It says you don't have an *angel* assigned, but I THINK your Surgeon is your own *personal ANGEL*!! Rene's surgery went well today. She is resting in the ICU at Regional, and may go to the PCU tomorrow. She can use some Angel visits. Thank you Lord for helping us get her through. She wanted this so much, and it will make such a difference for her and her family.

Hi Rene, I've been thinking and praying for you all day today, I can't wait to see your smiling face again and see that beautiful glow all the posties get after their surgery! Its wonderful that you and Cindy went thru this together, I bet its great to not be or feel alone ,and have your best budd there with you. Can't wait to see you. God Bless you and keep you!
