Angel reporting in! Just left the hospital an hour ago. Lisa is doing great! She was able to have the Lap RNY and was so happy when she found out. I arrived at the hospital before her first walk. Lisa tryed to bargin with the nurse for some ice chips. It was rather comical. The nurse told her if she did 2 laps (walking) she could lie back down and have another cup of ice chips. Lisa replied with, "What can I get for one lap?"lol:) I have to admitt, I'm really diggin this angel thing. I felt really honored to be able to be with Lisa right after her surgery. It gave me alot of insight to what all of you post ops have gone through and what all of us pre ops are about to jouney into. I will visit Lisa tomorrow. She probably won't even remember that I was there tonight. Also, I remember that Lisa was feeling a burning/pain sensation. The nurse asked when was the last time she hit her pain med button? Lisa replied, "I don't know. What button?"lol:) She was up and raring to go and tried to out walk both the nurse and myself. Lisa is a trooper. Let's all send her our warmest blessings and congrats on her new birthday!
