I spoke with Carolyn earlierand she is doing very well. Up and walking today after passing her leak test! She is to be released from the hospital on Wednesday, the 2nd, and will be staying in Portland with her sister Brenda for a couple of days before making the 3 hour drive home here to Bend.

Happy angel report!!!! I spoke with Carolyn earlier and she passed her leak test, there is nothing like a big glass of barium as your first drink after surgery. Because fo passing her test she was feasting on some delicious ice chips when we talked. She is still in a little pain but the pump helps with that. Her Dr. said she could be ready to go home as soon as tomorrow, she is doing great.

Angel #2 reporting!!! I too had the pleasure of talking with Carolyn in the phone this afternoon and she was doing great!! The Surgeons told her husband Michael, that the surgery was a piece of cake and all went well!!! No problems or complications!!! That is the answer that we wanted to hear! As Barry said, she likes her Demerol pump!! She was terribly thirsty, but gets no ice chips until tomorrow! Thank you to the Lord above for bringing another one safely through to the other side! Kari
