Boy is Joyce remarkable!!!! After her very successful surgery on the 14th, she is already home on the 16th. No she didn't have lap surgery it was open. Her doctor just raved at how well she did during surgery and after. I did go see here at the hospital Thrusday night and she was doing good a little sore (or should I say alot sore)but other than that she was doing great. Last night I spoke to her on the phone at home and she sounded wonderful. Please keep her in your prayers as she contiunes on her speedy and safe recovery. Blessing to all!!!

I spoke Joyce's DH today and he said she went through the surgery like a breeze. He said she was rolled to surgery at 11:00am this morning and by 1:45pm the doctor told him she was in recovery and everything went very good. Isn't God good. This afternoon he said she was drifting in and out of sleep (mostly sleeping) she did recognize him. I think with the pain medications she will be out the rest of the evening. I didn't get a chance to see her today. She is in Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA. Room #220 the phone number is 770-534-3220. Will update later.

Well Joyce the moment is almost here. Tonite when you go to bed it will be the last time you go to bed on this side. Tomorrow will be a new beginning for you. You will have a new Birthday and what better of a day could it had fallen on. You will be in my thoughts and prayers and I hope you have a speedy recovery. Happy Birthday to you!!

whoops..my bad, I was thinking today was Sunday. I guess my head is up there in the clouds somewhere. You only have four days to go.(I know the other sounded better).

Well Joycie, it looks like you have went through thick and thin and now you are only three days away from being on the otherside. I'm sooo proud of you. You have such great determation!!! I love you and hope the best for you and as always you are in my prayers. I will be by the hospital Wednesday evening to see you and Jim. LOL I'm sure I will be talking to you before then.
