Joy, Been there....TWICE!! My first plateau lasted 5 weeks and what got me through it was people writing me and telling me the following: Keep eating like you ARE losing and keep moving around the house or at work and keep your spirits up....join a support group, stay busy and think positive and one day you will hop on the scale and you will be down 4 lbs........and off you go again on a losing spree!! Also, during these times when you are not losing pounds, you are probably losing inches so now is the time to take your measurements again and compare them to your pre-surgery measurements!! My second plateau only lasted 3 weeks and that was partly my fault because I discovered I could eat popcorn and I ate too much, too often. Now I allow myself popcorn only once a week at the movies and I'm losing again!! WE CAN DO THIS!!!! Keep smilin'! Lap Banding 11-25-02/down -35 lbs. !! HUGS!!!! Carol Percel
