Good Luck on your surgery!! Mine, lap Roux-Y, is scheduled for November 1 (yeiks...less then a week away.) I too gained weight before my "fasting" began, about 10 pounds. I'm excited and scared and still have this nagging thought, as I drink my Carnation instant breakfast (yummmmm), that this isn't the best choice for me. Then I come to my senses and realize that it is the best choice for me. Good luck and heal well!!
